Learn to code – interactive programming course for home users
Learning programming is one of the key competences of the 21st Century. With our game, children gain numerous competences and skills that are so important for their future: the basics of programming and logical thinking, as well as the ability to solve complex problems.
Using gamification elements helps kids to gain knowledge in a friendly and interesting way. The players complete the quests with enthusiasm and focus on progressing through the game levels, following the successes of their work, and learning the secrets of coding.
The game features a friendly alien called Scottie, whose spaceship breaks down and crash lands on Earth.
Players will need to help Scottie to collect replacement parts for his spaceship to fly back home by programming his moves. It is a great learning-to-code adventure and a valuable way to spend time with friends, siblings, or with the whole family.
Teaching programming in primary school
To learn how to code, a mobile deviceis needed (smartphone or tablet) to install the Scottie Go! App, as well as a Scottie Go! programming board game box with the special programming blocks. Using programming blocks, players create programs to solve quests featured in the Scottie Go! app.
The Scottie Go! app allows players to find out details about the quest to solve, to scan lines of code created with programming blocks and to review if the scanned lines of code achieve the quest objectives.
The game contains 60 quests of increasing difficulty. Scottie’s adventures on 6 continents help to master basic concepts necessary for coding such as: simple and complex instruction, parameter, loop, conditional instruction, variables and functions.
Every box includes 179 programming blocks, manual and the license code eligible for 3 devices.
